FARM KING OFFSET DISCS ARE AVAILABLE IN FOUR WEIGHT CLASSES RANGING FROM 550 LB/FT TO 1050 LB/FT (818 TO 1563 KG/M).

Designed to be stronger and last longer, Farm King discs feature extreme duty bearings and optional interlocking 1/2 spools and the industry‘s strongest and tightest gangs with steel fabricated spools torqued to an impressive 3,200 ft-lb.
MODEL 1225
THE 1225 IS AN EXCELLENT ALL PURPOSE MACHINE SUITABLE FOR LIGHT DUTY PRIMARY TILLAGE: working up heavy straw, cornstalks, hay and pasture fields and is designed for finishing operations, seedbed preparation and reclamation work, depending on blade spacing. The 1225 weighs in the 550 lbs/ ft class or 255 lbs/ blade and are available in working widths of 10' to 20' (3.0 - 6.1 m) , in 9" or 10.5" (230 or 267 mm) blade spacing.
 
MODEL 1275
THE MODEL 1275 FARM KING OFFSET IS AN EXCELLENT PRIMARY TILLAGE TOOL.
They weigh in the 650 lbs/ ft (320 lbs/ blade) weight class. Designed for heavy primary tillage work such as breaking up grass/pasture or working in heavy crop residue or doing light-duty industrial work. The 1275 is available in working widths from 10' to 20' (3.0 - 6.1 m) in 10.5" or 12" (267, 305 mm) blade spacing.
 
MODEL 1375
THE ALLIED BY FARM KING 1375 IS A HEAVY-DUTY OFFSET DISC THAT IS CAPABLE OF THE TOUGHEST TILLAGE CHALLENGES IN AGRICULTURE: heavy primary tillage, including work down heavy crop residue, tear up old pasture and manage vegetable residue in the hardest ground conditions; and industrial/ construction work such as mix and dry clay road base, site preparation, reclamation work and clearing land. The 1375 features Farm King's exclusive T2-215 bearings with interlocking half spools with keyed gang shafts so that gang assemblies resist coming loose and a floating hitch to improve ground-following capabilities. The 1375 weigh an average of 750 lbs/ ft or 360 lbs/ blade and are available in 12" (305 mm) blade spacing.
 
MODEL 8550
THE 8550 FROM ALLIED BY FARM KING IS A HEAVY-DUTY DISC DESIGNED FOR HEAVY CONSTRUCTION AND MINING APPLICATIONS AND THE MOST DEMANDING AGRICULTURAL JOBS.
The 8550 features a floating hitch to ensure a smooth level finish on all jobs. Available in 9-1/2 to 15-1/2' widths the 8550 comes with a standard 14" (356 mm) blade spacing. The all-welded frame is constructed of 10" x 4" x 1/2" (254 x 102 x 13 mm) steel tubing.

STONE-FLEX/RIGID HANGERS


Stone-flex hangers are standard equipment on Models 1225/ 1275. They allow gangs to flex slightly side-to-side and up/ down to provide protection to the gang assemblies when impact is encountered while at the same time maintaining working depth. Heavy Duty rigid hangers are standard equipment on Models 1375/ 8550 where larger sized 30" and 32" blades are standard. Rigid hangers are fabricated from rectangular steel tubing and have a slim line contour design that provides maximum strength combined with excellent residue/ material flow.

BLADE SCRAPERS


Farm King Models 1225/1275/1375 offset discs feature wide-pan style blade scrapers. These scrapers contact lower down on the disc blades and scrape more surface area of the blade to provide more effective cleaning and prevent sticky material from building up on the blades. Scraper blades (tips) are laser cut from wear-resistant boron alloy steel and are replaceable. Model 8550 scrapers are fabricated from a single piece of heavy-duty 4"x3/4" steel and are double U-bolt mounted to the scraper bar for maximum strength and performance.

REMOVABLE SPINDLE AXLES


Farm King offset discs are built with maintenance concerns in mind. All spindle axles are designed for easy removal and maximum strength. Each spindle is bolted into a sleeve and can be removed by simply removing the bolt and pulling out the axle. This will save valuable time if repairs to a tire are needed.

ADJUSTABLE GANG ANGLE


The cut angle on Farm King Offset Discs can be adjusted to one of three settings (two on the 8550) depending on the aggression required. Moisture, soil conditions and crop residue levels change from season to season and only a disc with an adjustable gang angle will perform will in these varying conditions.

POSITIVE DEPTH CONTROL


A heavy-duty rockshaft, in greaseable bearings, is the foundation of the single offset disc‘s depth control system. A single cylinder with positive depth control segments provides consistent and repeatable working depth. An adjustable crank allows the operator to regulate the balance of pressure on both front and rear gangs.

STEEL FABRICATED SPOOLS


Farm King discs feature fabricated steel half and full spools. Unlike cast iron spools, steel spools can withstand far greater “shock loads” from rocks or stumps thereby eliminating spool breakage. Compressed to maximum density prior to assembly, Farm King's fabricated spools allow gang assemblies to be factory torqued to 3,200 ft-lbs (3,800 ft-lbs for model 8550) to ensure the gang components will not shift and become loose.
 
LARGE GANG SHAFT
 
All Farm King discs feature a large 1-15/16" diameter, high carbon steel gang shaft. This gang shaft along with Farm King’s steel fabricated spools allows the gang assembly to be tightened to industry-leading torque levels which keep the machine working and operating costs to a minimum.
 
FURROW FILLER BLADES
 
In order to get the most uniform and consistent field finish, Farm King offset discs have furrow filler blades as standard equipment. Furrow filler blades along with full sized blades on the gang assemblies create a uniform, well worked field or job-site.
 
INTERLOCKING HALF SPOOLS
 
Optional with 26" blades and standard equipment with 28" and larger sized blades, interlocking half spools are exclusive to Farm King. Each heavy-duty steel bearing sleeve is extended past the bearing housing and has drive lugs on each end that press and lock into the adjoining half spools so that the bearing sleeve and half spools form a single integrated unit. This provides 527% more contact area between the half spools and the blades to prevent blades from slipping and gang assemblies becoming loose in demanding tillage applications.
 
 
DISC BLADES
 
Quality disc implements start with quality blades. All Farm King discs feature the latest technology in micro alloy boron steel blades that combine the important performance characteristics of superior breakage resistance - with long wearing abrasion-resistant hardness. Notched blades are standard equipment to cut and size residue and aggressively work the soil, while smooth blades are optional.
 
 
GANG BEARINGS
 
410 WSS Series (standard on Model 1225) are a great choice for owners looking for a medium to heavy-duty bearing. Rated at 14,100 lbs. radial load, each bearing has 7 - 15/16" steel ball bearings that are held within a greaseable housing. The 410 WSS bearing features triple lip seals that do an excellent job of keeping dust, grit and contamination out of the bearing. The bearings are fastened to a bolt-on cast housing that allows the bearings to self-align which minimizes wear between the bearing, housing and gang shaft. This bearing is 190% heavier than the bearings commonly used by other Disc manufacturers.
 
T2-215 SERIES BEARINGS
 
(standard on models 1275, 1375 & 8550 and optional on model 1225 w/ 10.5" spacing) are the industry's most extreme-duty gang bearings and are trunnion mounted to provide positive alignment and handle gang shaft deflection that results from shock loads. Two 215 series ball bearings are positioned back-to-back within the oversized re-greaseable housing. Each 215 bearing has 11 - 11/16" steel ball bearings and each T2-215 bearing assembly is rated at 22,800 lbs. radial load. Bearing wear plates are optional for rocky conditions or abrasive soil types.
