Versatile DeltaTrack 520-610

The Versatile legacy of production of articulated four-wheel drive tractors is extensive. When conception of a track unit began there was no doubt that a four-track system was the best solution for Versatile and for the dealers and customers. In partnership with industry-leading suppliers, Versatile has developed a new class leader in the agricultural market.

 

Deluxe Cab
The new Deluxe Cab is a high-end full-featured cab that provides the operator with every imaginable comfort for long working days. A semi-active air-ride suspension seat and the training seat are both standard in this configuration. In addition to the connectivity options available in the standard cab, the Deluxe Cab has an 110v AC power outlet and a 5-volt integrated USB port. A subwoofer is also standard to improve sound quality in the cab.

 

Cab Environment
Large multi-directional vents optimize comfort and help create an ideal cab environment. Climate control reduces window fogging and the pressurized cab prevents the accumulation of dust and dirt particles. Convenience features include four cup holders and coat hooks to keep the cab clean and organized.

Dash Console
The redesigned dash console is narrower than previous versions to increase forward visibility. The steering console has standard tilt and telescopic operation to provide additional operator comfort. A newly designed dash display simplifies information for improved readability.

 

Radio
A conveniently located stereo and high quality sound system help make long days in the cab more enjoyable. Satellite radio is available.

 

Operator Seat

The operator seat has a 32° swivel range to maximize visibility when towing implements. Air-ride suspension and a heated, ventilated seat are standard in the Deluxe Cab.

 

Training Seat

Turn the training seat into a workstation by folding down the backrest to reveal a surface ideal for a laptop computer. The Deluxe cab features an 110v AC power outlet to ensure that your work is never interrupted by a loss of battery power.

Suspended Cab

 The suspended cab on the DeltaTrack (optional on the 4WD), combined with the optimization of the the undercarriage provides the best ride in the industry.

The suspended cab is raised onto the four point shock and spring system that works in tandem with the tuned torque arms that reduce or eliminate pitch and roll movement.

Bringing together Versatile’s double-axes bogie system and the suspended cab gives the DeltaTrack a superior system to any track based agricultural tractor on the market.

CAT® TRANSMISSION

The DeltaTrack uses the heavy-duty CAT® TA22 powershift transmission. 16 forward and four reverse gears shift seamlessly under load to create a more comfortable operating environment. A large selection of working gears is available to match almost any application. The TA22 is fully programmable for autoshift and speed matching. Capable of road speeds up to 22 mph (35 km/h), the DeltaTrack moves between fields efficiently.

 

UNDERCARRIAGE SYSTEM

Developed in partnership with CAMSO, the DeltaTrack is the most advanced undercarriage in the industry and was designed for longevity of the system and extended track life. The DeltaTrack offers superior torque transfer and excellent serviceability.

 

A Creeper package is available for slow-speed use in non-industrial applications. This package features the heavy duty 6500 series tracks, slow speed gearing capable of .95 MPH (1.53 KPH) in first gear at 1800 RPM, and a 1" (2.5 mm) tow cable. The maximum speed is 12.9 mph (21 kph).

Versatile Outboard Planetary

The DeltaTrack drivetrain maintains the Versatile outboard planetary system. The outboard planetaries drives power directly to the trucks to maintain equal torque to each track unit. This minimizes the impact of power transfer being disrupted while turning and reduces torque loss, making it easier to turn sharply with large implements and heavy loads.

 

Undercarriage Mounting
The DeltaTrack has an integrated axle mounting system and reinforced connection to the frame of the tractor. The frame absorbs stress from each track to increase track system life and reduce maintenance requirements.

 

Weight Distribution
The steel saddle fuel tanks help the DeltaTrack maintain an even 50/50 weight distribution front to rear regardless of fuel level. A crossover tube carries fuel from side to side to maintain even fuel distribution. The tanks are mounted as to not affect the front to rear weight ratio.

Idler Wheels

The large idler wheels used on the DeltaTrack improve the approach angle to reduce the risk of “submarining” in muddy conditions. The large idler wheels and track angle help reduce the tracks horsepower requirements.

 

Midrollers
The large midrollers on the DeltaTrack system are not directly inline with axle or drive system components to improve the ride and service life of the tractor. Polyurethane coating dramatically reduces midroller wear and maintenance requirements compared to competitive rubber midrollers.

 

Double Axis Bogie

Two way oscillation provides better weight transfer and reduces shock loading. Reduced vibrations and frame stress increase operator comfort. The DeltaTrack double axis bogie system also offers a better ride over a variety of obstacles.

 

 Drive Sprocket

A large 80.7° single piece cast drive sprocket provides a larger wrap angle than competitive track units to help increase track life.

HYDRAULICS
Electro-hydraulics, available on all models, are ergonomically designed for both comfort and convenience. Finger-tip controls manage the hydraulic functions and hydraulic flow is increased and decreased using the EHR monitor. A total hydraulic flow of 53 GPM (201 L/min) is standard, or 106 GPM (401 L/min) with the optional high flow hydraulic system. Four remote valves are standard, six optional.

DRAWBAR

The drawbar pull point on all of Versatile's four-wheel drive tractors is immediately behind the articulation point. This allows for a large-diameter pivot pin (up to 2") for maximum strength, durability and maximum transfer of power to the ground. The standard drawbar can also move from side to side or be locked in place.

Dash Display

A programmable center high-resolution display provides readouts on transmission functions, engine functions, field monitoring and basic tractor functions and calibrations. RPM, speed, temperature and fuel are all displayed on simple to read analog gauges.

Powershift Lever 

A four-function powershift lever gives you quick control over forward, reverse, upshift and downshift functions, eliminating the need for a clutch pedal.

SERVICEABILITY

There are never enough hours in the day and every minute counts. That’s why all Versatile tractors are designed with easy serviceability in mind. Routine service can extend the life of your tractor, minimize downtime and lower your operating costs.

 

Daily Maintenance

Daily maintenance is made easy with improved access to all fill and grease points. The hydraulic and fuel sight gauges are visible from the ground without opening side panels or removing any shields. The gullwing-style side panels open wide to provide excellent service access to all under-hood components.

 

Axle Servicing

The Versatile outboard planetary axle system is known for its ease of service. Planetary axle covers can be removed from the tractor without removing the entire undercarriage assembly, limiting the amount of time needed for routine maintenance.

 

Fueling

Refueling can easily be accomplished from either side of the tractor. A crossover tube allows both tanks to be filled quickly and with a capacity of 475 U.S. gallons (1800 L) you’ll have many hours in the field before stopping for fuel.

 

Storage

Additional storage compartments are located on either side of the battery. An optional frame-mounted toolbox is available.

 

Grille Access

The front grille swings open to provide ground level service access to the condenser/cooler package. The cooler and condenser package swings open for service access. A reversible fan is optional on all models to increase efficiency and provide quick cleanout. The batteries are also located behind the grille at ground level and a shut off switch is standard for safety, winter storage and to prevent against theft. Steel ballast is mounted under the front of the tractor improving service access, visibility and reducing storage size.

 

Versatile OPS

The DeltaTrack was designed using the legendary Versatile Outboard Planetary System. In addition to doing a better job of putting power to the ground the outboard planetary is far easier to service than competitive inboard units. Removing the planetary cover exposes the planetary gears and sun gear for easy access.

 

Access

A dry element air filter is easily accessed and removed when it needs to be replaced.
