Agricultural technician

T.I.C. Parts & Service is expanding and is now accepting applications for the position of Agricultural Technician. We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team. Responsibilities

•  

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on a wide range of agricultural equipment.

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on tractors, combines, sprayers, and other heavy-duty agricultural machinery.

• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to accurately identify and resolve issues.

• Complete work orders, service reports, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient workflow.

• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs and maintenance.

 

Requirements

• Red Seal Certification as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or equivalent experience.
• Experience in agricultural equipment repair and maintenance is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Profincency in using diagnostic tools and software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem solving skills and a customer-focussed attitude.
• Valid driver's license.

Heavy duty truck technician

T.I.C. Parts & Service is expanding our operations and is now accepting applications for the position of Heavy Duty Truck Technician. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join our growing team. If you are passionate about the repair and maintenance of heavy-duty trucks and want to work in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment, this is the job for you!

 

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain heavy-duty truck and trailer components.
• Operate various manufacturer computer programs to perform diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose trouble codes, disassemble engines and other truck components, and examine parts for defects and excessive wear.
• Recondition and replace truck and trailer parts using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections of truck-tractor components.
• Adhere to all workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliance standards.

 

Requirements

• Level 4 Apprentice in Truck Transportation and Bus or Red Seal Journeyman status.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge and comprehensive understanding of technology and repair techniques.
• Excellent time management skills and adaptability within the work environment.
• Ability to identify problems and implement solutions with attention to detail, accuracy, and metting deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.
